Steven Ford is a Music Consultant, Award Winning Record Producer, Internationally Respected Musician, Lecturer and Teacher.

He has taught many symposiums and workshops on music ministry in the African-American Church, and The Music Industry.

He is CEO of the S. Ford Music Productions. 


As a native of Philadelphia, Steven Ford was appointed head musician at the age of 9 years old at his father's church. He shortly there after began his musical career as a studio musician, performing on numerous recordings, television and radio commercials. Stevens' infatuation with recording and musical arranging soon became the driving force behind his maturity into a consummate musician, writer and producer.

Stevens' production skills have been a contributing factor for the success of over fifty album projects for such artists as;

Bishop TD Jakes, Richard Smallwood & Vision, Vickie Winans, Donnie McClurkin & The McClurkin Family, The Winans, Shirley Caesar, Maurette Brown-Clark, The Mighty Clouds Of Joy, The Williams Brothers, John P. Kee, Bishop Carlton Pearson, Phyllis Hyman, Pieces Of A Dream, The New York Voices, Bishop Merritt & The Straight Gate Mass Choir, The Dallas Ft. Worth Mass Choir, The Potter's House Mass Choir, and others.

Steven's album/CD productions have awarded him, 2 Grammy Awards,
10 Grammy Nominations, 5 Dove Awards,  and 10 Stellar Awards.

Steven served as Musical Director for the Broadway and National Theater productions of: "Don't Get God Started", "God's Trombones", "I'm Coming Home", and "Bobo's, an Urban Opera.

Stevens' orchestrations and scores can be heard in the films, "Born Out Of Time", "The Life of Benjamin Franklin", "Going For The Gold", "DuPont 50th Year Anniversary", and "The Philadelphia Diary Story".

He completed his education in Music Composition & Orchestration, at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.  Steven also studied piano with Dr. Vera Eubanks,  Dr. Susan Duer and, voila with Dr. Morris Schozstock.
